his highest singles ATP world ranking of 43 in 1987, when he
beat the defending champion Boris Becker at Wimbledon. Peter

To whom it may concern,
As you know Peter has been 15 years in club business in USA as Tennis
Director. Currently as Tennis Director at The Grand Health & Racquet
Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A patriotic novacastrian, Peter played some
amazing professional tennis during the eighties and was New South
Wales top ranked player 1985-1988. He had wins over players such as
Boris Becker at Wimbledon in 1987 and wins over Agassi, Mecir, Ivanisevic,
Mayotte, Fitzgerald during his career. He was an Australian Open finalist
in 1987 and Wimbledon semifinalist in 1984 & 1988 in doubles.
Peter represented Australia at the highest level in Davis Cup and
had a career high singles ranking of 43 and doubles ranking of 13.
It is my pleasure to support Peters tender for the operation and management
of the National Park Tennis Centre. He has a wealth of experience
in such a role and has the Tennis pedigree to back up a successful
undertaking such as this.
Should you require any further information please do not hesitate
to contact me.
Kind regards,
Craig Watson
