Marketing Plan
"I didn't start a war. Nobody died."
Boris Becker, putting his shocking 1987 Wimbledon upset loss to unheralded
Australian Peter Doohan into perspective.
“One of the biggest shocks in major history was Becker's loss
in the second round of Wimbledon 1987. Boris had two wins under his
belt and seemed to be unbeatable on grass. Then, on the old Court
One, he ran into unknown Aussie Peter Doohan, who played out of his
mind, volleying like a God, and never choked, to beat him square and
fair.”
